ABOUT ANDRIES

Andries was born and raised in Potgietersrus, (today known as Mokopane). He obtained his BLC and LLB degree from the University of Pretoria in 1983. He served his articles at Tim du Toit Attorneys in Pretoria, where after two years of military duty, was admitted as an attorney in 1988.

He is the founder of Coetzer & Steyn Attorneys, (formerly known as A.J. Coetzer De Beer &
Steyn),and he has been practicing for his own account since 1988. He specializes in Property Development, Conveyancing and High Court Litigation at the firm in Mokopane.

Andries has an undeniable, goal-orientated vision to implement the law.

Wilhelm Steyn

ABOUT WILHELM

Wilhelm has dedicated his career in pursuing his passion of Property Law. He did his studies through the Department of Justice whilst working for them. Thereafter, he worked for the Department of Land Affairs where he completed his B.Proc and LLB degrees.

He further acquired extensive knowledge in conveyancing as an examiner in the Pretoria Deeds Office.

Wilhelm served his articles at Van der Merwe Du Toit Attorneys in Pretoria. He was admitted as an attorney, conveyancer and notary in 2003. In 2004, he joined the firm Rooth & Wessels as an Associate Director, however, his ambition and fervour for Property Law inspired him to open his own firm in Pretoria.

Coetzer & Steyn Attorneys, since its establishment, has been a successful practice for over the past decade. With Wilhelm’s leadership and guidance Coetzer & Steyn Attorneys have become a formidable role-player within the property market.

Wilhelm continues to pursue his career with enthusiasm and is a specialist in all Property Law, Conveyancing, Sectional titles, Township Establishments and Notarial work.

Hendrik Jacobus Taljaard

ABOUT HENDRIK

Hendrik is an Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with the Right of Appearance in the High Court. He comes from a long line of legal professionals and started his legal path in High School, where he performed part time commercial legal work for various institutions as well as theoretical and practical work in criminology.

After his Matriculation, he started studying
towards his Bachelor of Laws. He started full time employment at Jordaan Inc. Attorneys, later Jordaan & Smit Inc., as a Candidate Attorney in their litigation department. He later ceded his articles to Wilhelm Steyn, where he completed his articles in: Conveyancing, Estates & Contract Department. He obtained his LLB through the University of South Africa and now practises law at Coetzer & Steyn Attorneys as an Associate and head of their LitigationDepartment.

He also runs a segment of the firms local Conveyancing Department together with the Commercial and Estate Administering Department

Rosa Cornelius

ABOUT ROSA

In 1984 she started her career as a legal secretary at Steyn Leyll & Marais Attorneys. Eager to expand her knowledge, she joined Tim Du Toit in 1992 as a Litigation typist for four years and then moved over to their Coveyancing Department from 1995 to 2000. Whilst working with people, it ignited the choice of her first degree, BA Psychology and Criminology.

Rosa then joined the firm Rooth & Wessels as a Conveyancing typist until October 2007, where she decided to continue her career with Wilhelm Steyn when he opened Coetzer & Steyn Attorneys. She completed her LLB degree in 2013, and served her articles and was admitted as an attorney in 2014 and as an Conveyancer in 2015.

She has more than 20 years of experience in Conveyancing.
